Japanese high-quality collectible statue brand Prime 1 Studio showcased a prototype of its latest product, the "GIGANTIC MASTERLINE Godzilla (2024) EVOLVED Non-Scale Statue," from the movie *Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire*, at its recent new product announcement event, 『NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XVI: REALMS BEYOND TIME』. Pre-orders are expected to open in the first quarter of 2026.
In *Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire*, Godzilla, sensing the threat posed by the tyrannical red-haired giant ape 'Scar King,' began traveling the world to enhance his power. Along the way, he first went to a French nuclear power plant to absorb radiation, and later traveled to the Arctic Sea to kill the titan 'Tiamat' and occupy its lair to absorb immense solar wind energy. After waking up from a sleep, Godzilla not only increased his muscle density, becoming extremely lean and powerful, but the energy within him also emitted a magenta glow, resembling gamma rays, significantly enhancing his combat capabilities.
The "GIGANTIC MASTERLINE Godzilla (2024) EVOLVED Non-Scale Statue" is crafted in an impressive size, approximately 93 cm tall and 109 cm wide, faithfully recreating the more muscular and powerful physique seen in the film. It meticulously sculpts the full body's muscle lines, the rough, layered, reef-like skin, and the large, sharp dorsal fin design. Additionally, it features delicate color application, depicting partial wear and aged keratin on the skin, as well as the color of the teeth and mucous membranes inside the mouth, exuding a strong sense of biological realism.
The base is designed in the shape of the "Colosseum" where Godzilla rested in the film, meticulously recreating the destroyed ruins, broken walls, and accumulated sand and dust. Furthermore, as seen in the officially displayed prototype, Godzilla's dorsal fins from head to tail, as well as the inside of his mouth, are made with clear parts and incorporate multiple built-in LED lighting mechanisms. When lit, they can reproduce the magenta glow emanating from his mouth and all dorsal fins, depicting him preparing to unleash his powerful heat ray!
