Early last month, "The Batman - Part 2" reportedly surprised fans by enlisting Marvel Cinematic Universe veteran Scarlett Johansson. Today, "The Batman - Part 2" is once again making headlines with the explosive news that another MCU alum, Sebastian Stan, known for his role as the Winter Soldier, is also set to join the cast. Entertainment outlet Deadline exclusively broke the news earlier, stating only that Stan is in talks to star, without specifying his role.

Interestingly, Stan and Johansson are reportedly set to play a married couple in the film. Film journalist Jeff Sneider also strongly suspected last month that Johansson would portray Gilda Dent, Harvey Dent's wife. Both characters are rumored to be villains, potentially mimicking the "Holiday Killer" storyline from the comic "Batman: The Long Halloween."
