Rumors have been swirling recently about the appearance of "Doctor Doom" variants in "Avengers: Doomsday." One theory suggests Doctor Doom will be accompanied by a female masked aide, with some reports even claiming this female Doom is a variant of Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch. Now, the latest whispers indicate that more than just one Doom variant will make an appearance.

Alex Perez, editor of The Cosmic Circus, a website known for its exclusive Marvel Cinematic Universe scoops, recently hinted on X that Doom won't be facing off against the Avengers alone. Perez suggested Doom will have a team backing him, though he didn't specify whether this team would consist of multiversal variants or his own constructed robots. However, Perez did mention the team's moniker: "Harbingers of Doom."
Interestingly, when "Doomsday" was originally titled "The Kang Dynasty" and featured Kang as the primary antagonist, the multiverse's heroes were set to battle various Kang variants. With the shift to Doom variants, the overarching plot structure appears to remain largely similar.
