Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY has announced its latest product, the "Rice Shower ~A Longed-for View~" 1/7 scale figure, based on the popular mobile game "Umamusume: Pretty Derby." It has a suggested retail price of 23,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in January 2027!
The highly popular Umamusume, Rice Shower, is based on the real-life racehorse from the 90s known as the "Black Assassin." In the game's setting, she is a timid and weak-willed Umamusume, an unfortunate girl who believes she brings bad luck and unintentionally finds herself in the role of a villain. However, even when fate plays tricks on her, she shows a strong side, striving desperately. In reality, Rice Shower suffered an accident during the Takarazuka Kinen race, a comminuted fracture in her left foreleg leading to her immediate euthanasia. But the "Umamusume" anime allowed Rice Shower to brilliantly win the Spring Tenno Sho and earn the audience's cheers.

Standing 23.5 cm tall, it faithfully recreates Rice Shower's gentle smile. Her elegant light blue gown is meticulously sculpted, showcasing both a sense of lightness and transparency.
