Hong Kong's emerging brand, Ember Toys, is expanding its "Chibi Creature" sofubi series with a new release from the "SSSS.GRIDMAN" anime! Following the previously released "Anti (Kaiju Form)" and "Ghoulghilas," the latest addition is the "Chibi Creature Mecha Ghoulghilas." This "Comeback Monster" is priced at 12,210 JPY and is slated for release in June 2026.
First appearing in the anime's premiere episode, "Ghoulghilas" was created by Akane Shinjo out of frustration after her hot dog bun was hit by a volleyball. This kaiju could spit bouncing fireballs but was quickly defeated and decapitated once its neck was discovered to be its weak point. However, Ghoulghilas made a powerful return later in the series as a super-reinforced mechanical version, earning it the moniker of the "Comeback Monster" due to its immense destructive capabilities!
The third entry in the "Chibi Creature" line, the "Chibi Creature Mecha Ghoulghilas" vinyl figure stands approximately 14cm tall. It maintains the series' signature chibi style while faithfully recreating Akane Shinjo's meticulously crafted kaiju. The figure accurately captures its sharp, drill-like head, the intricate, mechanical dorsal fins, and the fierce claws on its hands and feet.
