Recent rumors strongly suggest that the formidable villain "Doctor Doom" won't be operating alone in "Avengers: Doomsday." He is expected to have a group of followers, or possibly a legion of multiversal variants, assisting him.
Marvel Cinematic Universe insider Alex Perez recently reported on his website, The Cosmic Circus, that Peggy Carter will be a follower of Doctor Doom in the film. However, her allegiance isn't due to a villainous turn or succumbing to evil. A major point of curiosity for "Doomsday" involves Robert Downey Jr., who famously played Iron Man, potentially portraying Doctor Doom. Many wonder if the main MCU heroes would recognize the villain's face. Regarding this, prominent scooper MyTimeToShineH recently posted:
Finally, another well-known scooper, Daniel Richtman, recently shared news regarding Doom: Marvel Studios reportedly hopes Downey will continue portraying Doctor Doom even after "Avengers: Secret Wars" concludes. This suggests Marvel has extensive long-term plans for Doom's storyline, indicating it won't be wrapped up in just two or three films.
