Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. Candy Toy Division BANDAI CANDY has announced the latest candy toy product, "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity Yudou," themed after Toei's new tokusatsu series "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity," scheduled for release in May 2026.
The super-dimensional hero saga "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is a remake based on some settings from the 1982 Toei tokusatsu "Space Sheriff Gavan." The story is set across various Earths in the multiverse, where each universe has an organization dedicated to protecting cosmic peace, the "Galactic Federal Police," and a "Gavan" with powerful abilities. The protagonist, Reiji Dojyo, is the transformer of "Gavan Infinity." Possessing the unique ability to traverse dimensions, he can travel to different Earths in various universes on assignments, collaborating with the Gavan and police forces of those worlds to apprehend criminals and forge deep friendships.
The first wave of "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity Yudou" features protagonists from the series, including Gavan Infinity, Gavan Bushido, and Gavan Koki. A complete character can be assembled by collecting both the upper body and lower body parts.
These Gavan action figures faithfully reproduce the height differences between male and female base bodies, and their scale has finally been made consistent with the "Kamen Rider Sodou" series.
The assembly parts utilize more intricate segmentation to recreate the large color blocks of Gavan's body. High-gloss plastic molding colors and stickers that express metallic and gradient hues are used to faithfully reproduce the full-body metallic armor and the glowing blade of the specialized weapon, "Gavarion Blade."
The completed action figures boast over 20 points of articulation. Many of the articulation designs are improved from the "Dai Sentai Gojuser Yudou" released last year, incorporating ball-jointed necks and double-jointed knees, among other features, to significantly enhance posability.
