Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, has announced a new product based on the popular anime "Dandadan" – "Turbo Granny (Maneki-Neko)". The suggested retail price is 6,300 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in September 2026!
Turbo Granny, also known as "Hundred-Kilometer Granny," hid in a tunnel, a popular spiritual hotspot in Seino City, to look after several vengeful spirits of young girls. When Okarun went there to test his courage, she cursed him and stole his testicles. After the Seino City incident, her consciousness was transferred by Seiko into a Maneki-Neko doll. Reluctantly, she assists Okarun and his companions in searching for the lost testicles to regain her freedom.
This Nendoroid Turbo Granny stands approximately 8 cm tall, bringing to life Granny's appearance after being placed inside the Maneki-Neko by Seiko-grandma. The various patterns and details of the Maneki-Neko on her body are meticulously reproduced, and the "Senryo" (ten million ryo) koban on her chest is also exquisitely recreated! Three facial expressions are included: a scoundrel face, a focused face, and a strong wind face. Accessories such as golden testicles, headphones, and a hairdryer are also included, allowing you to recreate various cute scenes from the first season's ending with its articulation!
