Japanese company BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO, known for its "Grandista" series which boasts impressive size and excellent detail, will release a new figure of "Ri Boku" from the historical manga "Kingdom" in October 2026! Let's take a look at the strongest strategist in all of China!
In "Kingdom," created by Japanese manga artist Yasuhisa Hara, Ri Boku is the pillar of the Zhao state and the hope of its people. Not only is he a divine strategist, but he is also a monster in information warfare. Qin's "Ouki," in his first battle upon returning to service during King "Sei's" reign, was defeated and killed due to Ri Boku's masterful information blockade. Ri Boku was also the organizer of the coalition army that attacked Qin. Although he was defeated by Ousen's secret strategy during the Battle of Gyou and later pushed to the brink by Kanki, Ri Boku still claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Qin soldiers during Qin's "Northern Zhao Campaign." Before Qin's path to unifying the six states, Ri Boku is the greatest enemy!
According to currently released information, the "Grandista Ri Boku" figure stands approximately 26 cm tall. It faithfully reproduces his signature brown hair and goatee based on the anime's design. The dark blue wool shawl and the blue and white main-colored outfit also restore the texture details, with exquisitely sculpted folds. The overall pose depicts him extending his left hand, as if issuing the command "Commence Battle!" to his entire army. It feels perfectly suited to be placed behind various soldier toys, allowing him to display the demeanor of a top strategist of the Central Plains (laughs).
