Japanese gashapon toy brand Kitan Club (キタンクラブ) is collaborating with popular Japanese illustrator Taro Ohno (おおのたろう) to release the super cute "Baby Booboo Car Collection" (tentative translation, 赤ちゃんブーブコレクション) gashapon, scheduled for late April 2026! The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, with a total of six styles to collect.
Taro Ohno's super cute, seemingly soft-bodied babies are now three-dimensional! Kitan Club has produced these babies in a 4.5-5 cm scale, featuring their round bellies, chubby short legs, and soft, bouncy cheeks. The rich variety of expressions is a major highlight of this collection! They're not just cute; there are also babies laughing heartily, looking a bit grumpy, and even some showing precocious confidence (lol). What's even better is that in addition to the babies, the product also includes a Booboo car (ブーブ) with wheels that actually turn, and each car comes in a different color! Collecting many and playing with them together is incredibly therapeutic! A must-have.
