MAX FACTORY, a Japanese toy company, under its "PLAMAX" assembly model brand which encompasses a rich variety of themes including bishoujo, figures, and robots, announced today (23rd) a new product to commemorate the 100th release in its 1/20 scale "minimum factory" (MF) series: "Nene Ver. 2.0"! It is scheduled to ship in October 2026, with a suggested retail price of 3,630 JPY.

Nene, originally released in 2015 as the very first product in the minimum factory series, now makes her reappearance in a brand-new, next-generation form! Nene is an original bishoujo character from the highly popular Japanese illustrator Shunya Yamashita (山下しゅんや)'s "Shunya Yamashita Military Qty's". This 2.0 version features a complete overhaul in design and sculpting, based on newly drawn illustrations, allowing you to once again experience the exquisite joy of assembling a 1/20 scale military bishoujo! By simply gluing together the pre-colored parts and applying the eye decals, the captivating Nene 2.0 will gradually come to life. Her beautiful fair face and voluptuous body lines are truly enchanting!
