The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product from the tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider AGITO," "Shouichi Tsugami," slated for release in January 2027.
The protagonist, Shouichi Tsugami, is a young man who lost his memory and lives with the Misugi Yoshihiko family. He is gentle, kind, and optimistic, spending his days doing housework and gardening, and retaining his excellent cooking skills from before his amnesia. He is actually one of the survivors of the "Akatsuki" ship disaster, a core event in the story. During the attack by the Water Angel on the ship, he awakened the power of light, transforming into "Kamen Rider AGITΩ." When the UNKNOWN, possessing the power of darkness, appear, he senses them and goes to battle.
The "S.H.Figuarts Shouichi Tsugami" figure was produced with the full cooperation of actor Toshiki Kashu. 3D scanning technology was used to model his entire physique, bone structure, expressions, and poses, combined with makeup and costume data from the show's original broadcast, to faithfully recreate his appearance from the 2001 series. The entire body utilizes the parts division and joint design cultivated over many years in the S.H.Figuarts series, with the waist and abdomen parts made of soft material, ensuring both a complete costume appearance and flexible articulation.
Three interchangeable face parts are included: "serious face," "smiling face," and "eating face." Each is produced using a printing technique called "Tamashii Digital Coloring" to meticulously reproduce facial details and shadows. Accessories include various interchangeable hand parts, a frying pan, a daikon radish, a bento box made by Mana Kazaya, interchangeable waist parts showing the belt emerging, "Altering" belt recreation parts, "Dragon's Nail" belt recreation parts, and more, allowing for the recreation of various daily life scenes and classic transformation poses!
