Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular 6-inch action figure series "MAFEX" is releasing a new product based on the popular R-rated superhero series "The Boys" – the "Homelander Finale Ver." action figure. The suggested retail price is 14,080 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in February 2027!
The main antagonist of the series and leader of The Seven, Homelander, is a supe raised in a laboratory by Vought International. He possesses abilities similar to Superman, such as flight, heat vision, and superhuman strength. His immense power, combined with his extreme desire for control, paranoid and antisocial personality, and childish mindset, makes him a being both hated and feared by everyone.
This "Homelander Finale Ver." action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall and is sculpted based on his appearance in the fourth and final season. The head sculpt is once again crafted by Masato Ohata, meticulously recreating actor Antony Starr's facial features at a small scale. The body appears to reuse the sculpts from the regular version and the previous bloody version, faithfully reproducing the textures of his suit, the eagle emblem on his shoulders, and various other American-themed design details. The red and white striped flag cape is made of fabric material and features a hidden wire along the sides, allowing it to be posed dynamically to create a flowing effect!
The biggest difference this time lies in the accessories. The interchangeable head sculpts include a beaming smile, closed eyes, and an angry expression with activated laser eyes. Also included are laser eye effect parts, the cake he brought when returning to the lab where he grew up in Season 4, and two vials of Compound V. Most importantly, it also comes with a baby bottle, a breast milk collection bottle, and a cup of milk, allowing for a complete recreation of his pathological obsession with breast milk! Furthermore, it can be displayed alongside the concurrently revealed "William "Billy" Butcher TEMP V24 Ver." to recreate their confrontations from the series!
