Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular 6-inch action figure series "MAFEX" has unveiled a new product based on the DC film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" – the "Armored Batman Ver.1.5" action figure. The suggested retail price is 14,080 JPY, with an estimated release in August 2026!
After 10 years, Armored Batman finally makes his return with an upgraded version! This "Armored Batman Ver.1.5" action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall. The body appears to partially reuse the version released in 2016, with sculpted details faithfully recreating the metallic scratches on the armor and cowl. The overall color scheme is slightly brighter than before, and the cape fabric has been changed to a material with a more distinct difference in brightness between the inner and outer gray-black sides.
In addition to the multiple interchangeable hands and grapnel launcher from the previous version, the accessories now include a Kryptonite spear for combating Superman, and a damaged cowl head sculpt that reveals part of Ben Affleck's face. With its flexible articulation, it can be posed alongside the previous Superman to vividly recreate the confrontation scenes from the film!
