Japanese manufacturer Sentinel has just announced the latest addition to its popular RIOBOT die-cast action figure line: the "AM Gunner" from the hit series "Super Robot Wars OG"! This massive unit is slated for a January 2027 release.
The AM Gunner is an armored module designed as an upgrade for the Huckebein Mk-III. Featuring its own cockpit, it can function as an independent support unit or combine with the Huckebein Mk-III to form the "Huckebein Gunner," a configuration specialized for high-mobility artillery combat. In this form, the Huckebein's flight capabilities are dramatically improved, and its firepower is enhanced with multiple missile launchers and four powerful G-Impact Cannons.
The "RIOBOT AM Gunner" boasts an impressive total length of approximately 405mm and is designed to combine with the separately sold "RIOBOT Huckebein Mk-III" to create the mighty Huckebein Gunner. The sculpt faithfully reproduces the intricate armor details, color separation, and the four signature G-Impact Cannons seen in the original game designs.
Collectors will have the option to equip the side missile launchers with either the "Initial Type Missile Pods" or the "Improved Type Missile Pods." The Initial Type parts allow for the attachment of landing gear as seen in the concept art. The Improved Type parts feature an interlocking hatch-opening mechanism and a gimmick where the pods can slide backward and deploy grips. This allows the Huckebein Boxer (formed by combining with the AM Boxer) to wield the cannons, recreating the iconic "Full Power Cannon" attack sequence performed by the EX Huckebein in the anime "Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector"!
