SUPER7 "ToHo ULTIMATES! Godzilla Minus One (Odo Island)" Action Figure Arrives as Amazon Exclusive!

American toy manufacturer SUPER7, known for its 80s and 90s pop culture-themed toys, is expanding its "ToHo ULTIMATES!" series of Toho monster action figures with a new release from the critically acclaimed film "Godzilla Minus One" – the "Godzilla (Odo Island)" figure. Priced at $80, it's now available for pre-order exclusively on the official SUPER7 Amazon store, with an estimated release date of January 2027.

At the beginning of "Godzilla Minus One," Lieutenant Koichi Shikishima, a kamikaze pilot who fled combat, lands his A6M Zero fighter at a Japanese military base on Odo Island in 1945. That night, a colossal, dinosaur-like creature, identified by locals as Godzilla, suddenly attacks the Odo Island base. A terrified Shikishima fails to defeat it with his shots and is later blamed for the heavy casualties. Two years later, after absorbing nuclear radiation from American atomic tests, Godzilla returns in an even more powerful form to devastate a post-war recovering Tokyo.

This ToHo ULTIMATES! release brings to life the dinosaur-like form of Godzilla as it first appeared on Odo Island in 1945. The figure stands approximately 17 cm (6.7 inches) tall and measures about 28.8 cm (11.3 inches) long. Its sculpt captures intricate, organic details, faithfully recreating its more forward-leaning posture compared to its later, evolved form. The rough skin texture, gaping maw, and sharp dorsal fins are all meticulously rendered. Boasting 28 points of articulation across its head, neck, arms, legs, and tail, the figure also includes an alternate roaring head sculpt and two sets of interchangeable hands. These accessories allow for dynamic posing to recreate various scenes from the film!
