BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division in Japan has unveiled a new S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou series release: the "Kamen Rider G7" action figure, based on the movie "Kamen Rider Agito -Psychic War-". Priced at 12,100 JPY, it is slated for release in February 2027!
Set to premiere tomorrow (the 29th) in Japan, "Kamen Rider Agito -Psychic War-" marks the second standalone theatrical film for "Kamen Rider Agito" and serves as a 25th-anniversary commemorative work for the series, as well as a 55th-anniversary film for the entire "Kamen Rider Series". Nearly all main cast members and production staff from the original series have returned for the movie, with the exception of Yuusuke Tomoi, who retired from entertainment.
This S.H.Figuarts release brings Makoto Hikawa's enhanced G7 battlesuit, set to appear in the film, to life using the Shinkocchou Seihou sculpting method, which meticulously builds the suit's details outward from a muscular base. Standing approximately 14.5 cm tall, the figure faithfully recreates the iconic four antennas and the distinct armor shape. The "G Buckle mark7" belt panel is also intricately reproduced. Its articulation features a human-body-based joint design, ensuring both flexible posing and a natural appearance, allowing for effortless dynamic stances while wielding its primary weapon, the longsword "GZ-10"!
For accessories, the figure includes four sets of interchangeable hands. The GZ-10 weapon can be transformed into its stored state by swapping out the blade, and it can be mounted on the left leg using an included replacement part. The most impressive design feature this time is the 15 detachable drones located across the figure's shoulders, elbows, legs, and back. The hand armor can also be swapped with replacement parts, and an additional six deployed drones are included. These can be combined with separately sold Tamashii Stage stands to recreate powerful scenes of the drones in action!
