World-renowned Hong Kong toymaker Hot Toys has officially revealed its latest product from the film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi"—the "Luke Skywalker (Artisan Edition)" 1/6th scale collectible figure. This release is limited to 2,500 units and will be available through select channels, priced at $405 USD with an expected release in December 2027!
Following the tragedy at his Jedi Temple, Luke exiled himself to the water planet of Ahch-To, attempting to live a quiet, arduous life disconnected from the galaxy and the Force. His solitude was broken by Rey at the end of "The Force Awakens," setting the stage for his fateful return in "The Last Jedi."
This 1/6th scale Luke Skywalker collectible figure stands approximately 29cm tall. The meticulously detailed head sculpt captures the facial features of actor Mark Hamill, with exquisite recreation of his wrinkles, beard, and skin texture. It also comes equipped with a separate rolling eyeball system for fine-tuning his expression. The signature feature of this Artisan Edition is its stunning use of rooted hair, employing high-grade wool to individually implant each strand, perfectly recreating his gray, white, and faded sandy-gold mid-length hair for an incredibly lifelike appearance!
The outfit is tailored from composite fabric materials to replicate his black poncho, weathered brown jacket, and grey hooded robe. Accessories include three pairs of interchangeable hands, an orange backpack containing a net, branch, rope, and water bottle, a beige crossbody bag, a walking stick, a Jedi Star Compass, and a Jedi pendant. For his weapon, the set provides a newly developed LED light-up lightsaber hilt and a standard hilt, accompanied by both a static and an in-motion blue lightsaber blade. Furthermore, the figure includes a Porg with its wings spread, which can be paired with a specially designed island-themed base to perfectly capture Luke's life in exile!
