American toy manufacturer Mezco Toyz has unveiled the latest addition to its massively popular 1/12 scale "One:12 Collective" action figure line, straight from the classic "Batman: The Animated Series"—the Scarecrow! This 1/12 scale action figure is now available for pre-order on the official Mezco website for $116, with an expected release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Scarecrow, whose real name is Jonathan Crane, first appeared in the Season 1 episode "Nothing to Fear." A twisted professor of psychology and chemistry, he specializes in using fear-inducing compounds to launch his terror attacks, with the ultimate goal of paralyzing Gotham City with fear.
This One:12 Collective Scarecrow figure stands approximately 17cm tall and is primarily based on his redesigned appearance from his second showing in the series. The detailed sculpt captures his eerie and unsettling facial features, while a slender underlying body and tailored fabric outfit perfectly replicate his lanky, animated proportions. The head includes two interchangeable hairpieces and three swappable teeth options, which, combined with posable eyes, allow for a wide range of vivid expressions!
Furthermore, the figure includes an alternate Dr. Jonathan Crane head sculpt, a head based on his initial appearance in "Nothing to Fear," and a more terrifying version seen during fear-induced hallucinations, offering a wealth of display options. The accessory loadout features multiple sets of interchangeable hands, a scythe, a fear gas gun, three translucent fear gas canisters, a smoke plume effect, a hand-mounted fear gas effect, and two crows. These can be combined with the included display base and the figure's high articulation for dynamic posing. He's the perfect villain to menace the previously released Batman and Robin figures from the animated series line!
