BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division has announced the latest addition to their Ganso SD Gundam World model kit series: "Musha Gundam" from "SD Sengokuden," slated for release in September 2026.
The protagonist of the "SD Sengokuden" series, Musha Gundam, is a member of the Gundam Army's strongest unit, the "Musha Seven," and the son of the Gundam Army's second-in-command, Shogun Gundam. A master of martial arts, he wields a diverse arsenal including katanas, naginatas, firearms, a flying shield, cannons, and machine guns. Having grown up as a farmer's son while concealing his true identity, he earned the deep respect of the people. He achieved countless feats against the "Dark Army" and eventually became the new leader of the Gundam Army, the "Third Generation Gundam Daishogun," in the "Furinkazan Arc."
The "Ganso SD Gundam World Musha Gundam" revives the classic 1990s model kit using the latest scanning technology, with new molds bringing this iconic product back to life for modern collectors. The part colors—black, white, red, and yellow—match the original release, though the yellow parts are now made of hard plastic. The "Fukikaeshi" (side flaps) on the helmet come pre-painted.
Additionally, the kit includes newly designed face parts that can be freely swapped, with both face options featuring eye stickers for either pupil-equipped or pupil-less looks. Weapon accessories include the "Nichirinmaru" sword, "Hishijū Shield," and "Naginata Bushin." The shield's transformation into an "Eagle Fighter Mode" is faithfully recreated, as is the front skirt armor's ability to open and reveal an internal cannon.
