Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand T-SPARK has announced the upcoming release of the "RMZ-022 Murasame Liger" as part of their 1/100 scale articulated model kit series, "REALIZE MODEL." Hailing from the anime "ZOIDS Genesis," pre-orders for this new kit are set to open in May 2026.
The "Murasame Liger," protagonist Ruuji Familon's personal Zoid, is a lion-type Zoid unearthed from the seabed near Mirodo Village. Its ultra-lightweight design grants it exceptional mobility, allowing it to reach top speeds of 310 km/h. Equipped on its back is the "Murasame Blade," capable of slicing through various objects with a single strike. The Murasame Liger also harbors a super-technology known as "EVOLUT (Special Evolution)," which enables it to instantly alter its form based on the pilot's will. This allows for transformations into powerful variants like the "Hayate Liger" and "Mugen Liger." Remarkably, as long as its cockpit remains intact, the Zoid can even resurrect itself, restoring its body along with its core.
