Chinese high-quality collectible brand HIYA TOYS is set to release its latest product in the EXQUISITE BASIC series: the "Sigma" non-scale 7.1-inch action figure, based on the classic video game "Mega Man X"! The suggested retail price is $99.00 USD, with an estimated release in Q3 2027.
The main antagonist of the "Mega Man X" series, Sigma (シグマ/Σ), is renowned as Dr. Cain's greatest masterpiece. Built with the finest chips and programming, he possessed superior intelligence and immense combat prowess, earning the admiration of many Reploids. After coming into contact with the Maverick Virus, he rebelled against humanity and became the first leader of the Mavericks.
The HIYA TOYS "EXQUISITE BASIC Sigma" non-scale 7.1-inch action figure stands approximately 18 cm tall. Based on his original design from the first "Mega Man X" game, it faithfully recreates his imposing classic look. The thick shoulder armor and prominent green chest plate define his powerful upper body silhouette, with a red energy gem embedded in his chest and intricately sculpted purple insignia. His lower body's black armor and combat boots further enhance his stoic and oppressive aura, while the silver spiked guards on his wrists and knees add a touch of brutal, dangerous combat readiness!
Beyond his sinister grin, the figure includes interchangeable face plates for a sly smirk and a wide, toothy laugh, capturing a range of his intimidating and maniacal expressions. Magnetic structures are built into the soles of his feet, allowing him to attach to metal surfaces for enhanced stability in various poses. A special real fabric red cape is included, along with interchangeable back armor parts and a V-shaped back armor piece, allowing for a variety of display options. Both the straight thrust and arc slash energy beam sword effect parts feature built-in lighting, and when combined with the clear display stand, they can create two distinct action scenes.
