TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced the latest addition to its popular "S.H.Figuarts" articulated figure series: "Kamen Rider DAWN" from the tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider ZEZTZ," slated for release in January 2027.
Kamen Rider DAWN is the transformed form of the antagonist Chiku, who appears midway through the series. Chiku possesses the terrifying ability to infiltrate others' nightmares, drastically altering their content to enact his own brand of vigilante justice, assassinating numerous villains. After his arrest, he was absorbed by the secret defense organization CODE, becoming the special agent "Code Name ONE." However, disgusted by the ugliness of reality, he chose to merge with the "Punishment Bloody Nightmare Bringer" deep within his subconscious, gaining the power to transform into Kamen Rider DAWN. This transformation, however, confines him permanently to the dream world. From then on, Chiku became a dangerous individual who sought pleasure and thrills within the nightmares of others, striking fear into all factions.
The "S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider DAWN" stands approximately 15 cm tall and features a highly articulated design. It faithfully recreates the menacing head sculpt and compound eyes of the suit seen in the show. The entire body is finished with metallic pink, purple, and silver paint applications, perfectly capturing its ominous, disaster-like coloration. The figure boasts a flexible body with joint designs that ensure dynamic posing without unsightly gaps. Accessories include his signature weapon, "BREAKAM DAWN," which not only reproduces its intricate details and colors but can also separate from its greatsword mode into a dual-blade configuration.
