My Hero Academia's Deku and Bakugo Get New Casual Wear LOOK UP Figures from Megahouse

Japanese toy company Megahouse has revealed two new additions to its popular LOOK UP series of adorable, upward-gazing chibi figures. This time, the spotlight is on the hit anime "My Hero Academia," with new "Izuku Midoriya (Casual Clothes Ver.)" and "Katsuki Bakugo (Casual Clothes Ver.)" figures. Both are priced at 4,180 JPY and are scheduled for a late November 2026 release!

"My Hero Academia," created by manga artist Kohei Horikoshi and serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2014 to 2025, is set in an era where nearly everyone possesses a superpower known as a "Quirk." The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without a Quirk who inherits the power "One For All" from the number one hero, All Might. He enrolls in U.A. High School, the top hero academy, and embarks on his journey with his classmates to become the greatest hero.

Both LOOK UP figures stand at approximately 11cm tall and are based on the casual outfits worn by Midoriya and Bakugo during their heart-to-heart battle in Episode 61 of the anime, "Deku vs. Kacchan, Part 2." While the head sculpts appear to reuse the tooling from the previous school uniform versions, they feature brand-new facial expressions. The text on Midoriya's shirt, reading "T-Shirt" in Japanese Katakana (シ—ツ), has been meticulously printed. The heads feature a simple ball joint, allowing you to adjust their gaze, making them incredibly cute whether you're holding them in your palm or setting them up as a companion on your desk! Additionally, pre-ordering from the Premium Bandai official website will include a bonus phone strap tab for each character, perfect for showing off your favorite hero with a clear phone case!
