Megahouse, the Japanese toy company renowned for its "LOOK UP" series of adorable chibi figures featuring upward-gazing poses, has announced a new "One Piece" themed product. The latest offering is a special set featuring Shanks (Childhood Ver.) and Buggy (Childhood Ver.). This charming duo is priced at 8,910 JPY and is slated for a December 2026 release!
As children, Shanks and Buggy both served on the legendary Pirate King Gol D. Roger's ship. Despite their constant bickering, they were inseparable companions. Buggy's life took an unexpected turn when Shanks' sudden remark caused him to accidentally consume the Chop-Chop Fruit (Bara Bara no Mi) and lose a treasure map overboard, effectively crushing his dreams of wealth. This incident fueled Buggy's intense resentment towards Shanks.
Each of these "LOOK UP" figures stands approximately 11 cm tall. The chibi-style sculpts faithfully capture the duo's hairstyles and outfits from their youth aboard Roger's ship, meticulously recreating iconic details like Shanks' straw hat and Buggy's distinctive red nose. The figures feature simple head articulation, allowing collectors to subtly adjust their gaze, making them perfect for display or even as charming mealtime companions. Furthermore, a limited edition set available exclusively through Premium Bandai and the Toei Animation Official Store will include an original mini drawstring pouch, ideal for carrying the figures for on-the-go photo opportunities.
