LEGO has just announced a new wave of sets for its SMART Play system, expanding its collaboration with the world of "Pokémon"! This article covers five new sets that do not include the core Smart Brick: "72155 Berry Bash with Bulbasaur and Bidoof," "72156 Trainer's Buggy Adventure with Squirtle," "72157 Charmander and Geodude's Cavern Clash," "72158 Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly Battle," and "72159 Jigglypuff Concert." All sets are scheduled to launch on August 1, 2026, initially releasing in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Poland, and Australia.
This latest wave of Pokémon SMART Play sets brings a huge lineup of fan-favorites to life in LEGO form, including the Kanto and Paldea starters, Jigglypuff, and more! With simplified builds and kid-friendly price points, these sets integrate with the tech-infused LEGO SMART Play system for dynamic, interactive fun. This technology dramatically expands the LEGO Pokémon universe, allowing you to nurture bonds with your Pokémon and battle just like a real trainer, keeping the adventure going! However, it's crucial to note that these five sets do not include the Smart Brick. To bring these Pokémon to life, you'll need to purchase a set that contains the Smart Brick, such as the 72167 Charizard vs. Jolteon: The Ultimate Showdown or the 72164 Pikachu's Training Center, to unlock the full experience.
