Good Smile Company's MECHA SMILE brand, known for its mechanical-themed collectibles, has announced the upcoming release of the first robot from "The Brave of Gold Goldran" for their "THE GATTAI" completed combination toy series. A release date has not yet been set.
The protagonist robot, Golden Swordsman Dran, is a dignified Brave robot capable of transforming into a car. Dran can summon Gorgon, the Golden Dragon, to perform a "Golden Combination" and form the larger Goldran. In this combined form, Goldran wields the Japanese katana weapon, the "Super Dragon Fang Sword," to unleash its signature special move, the "One-Cut Two-Halves Slash." As Golden Ninja Kage and Golden General Leon awaken, they can further combine with Goldran to achieve its ultimate form, Great Goldran.
Currently, only a partial design for Gorgon, the Golden Dragon component of "THE GATTAI Goldran," has been revealed. The most striking feature of this mecha is its full golden armor. Fans can anticipate how the final product will achieve this with appropriate molding colors, paint applications, or even electroplating finishes.
