RIOBOT Super Robot Wars OG Raioh Die-Cast Action Figure Stands 28cm Tall, Features Ratchet Joints for Dynamic Poses!

Japanese figure manufacturer Sentinel has announced the latest addition to its popular RIOBOT die-cast action figure series: the "Raioh" from "Super Robot Wars OG," with an anticipated release in October 2026.

First appearing in "Super Robot Wars Alpha 3: To the End of the Galaxy," the Raioh served as the early-game unit for the Super Robot protagonist. It was initially developed as the third unit in the "DGG" series, following the Daizengar and Aussenseiter. Utilizing artificial muscle materials throughout its frame, it boasts extraordinary mobility, excelling in various martial arts and powerful kicks. It also features the "LIOH System," designed to learn the pilot's characteristics and unleash their full potential. However, this system had a critical flaw: a lack of safety mechanisms. In its "End Mode," it would push the pilot to death like a berserker, leading to its temporary sealing. The issue was later resolved by replacing it with the "DML System," identical to the one used in the Daizengar.

The "RIOBOT Raioh" meticulously recreates its imposing design, drawing from concept art and in-game cut-ins, standing at an impressive 28 cm tall. Its internal frame is constructed from die-cast metal, providing a substantial feel and robust joint strength thanks to its ratchet joint design. The angular exterior armor faithfully captures the artificial muscle-built physique and the distinctive black, white, and gold color scheme. Its eyes can be illuminated using a blacklight to simulate a glowing effect.

The red scarf on its upper body features tattered edges and a dynamic, wind-swept sculpt. The three rear scarf segments are independently articulated. A replacement neck part is included to recreate its iconic crossed-arm pose, and the neck joint's up-and-down mechanism allows the face to be concealed within the scarf. The plasma converters on its palms require interchangeable parts to display in their deployed state, while the plasma converters on both sides of its legs can be deployed without swapping parts and can be reoriented via their ball-jointed bases.

Ratchet joints are extensively incorporated throughout the figure, including the chest, waist, hip joints, knee joints, and feet. This design ensures excellent joint retention for its large and heavy body, allowing collectors to pose and secure it in a variety of dynamic fighting stances. It can faithfully recreate powerful kicking techniques that utilize its legs, such as "Counter Break," "Rising Assault," and "Meteor Dive"!
