Following the popular "Mobile Suit Gundam Machibouke" series, Bandai's Gashapon capsule toy brand has announced its latest release, exclusively available at the Bandai Namco Official Store: the "Mobile Suit Gundam Machibouke 2 (Black Clear Ver.)." This collection features four distinct mobile suits, priced at 440 JPY (tax included) per capsule, with a blind box version also planned for release.
The "Mobile Suit Gundam Machibouke 2 (Black Clear Ver.)" capsule toy lineup includes: Char's Z'Gok, Dom, Strike Gundam, and BuCUE! Each mobile suit is reinterpreted in the series' signature style, capturing these popular Gundam machines in approximately 4 cm tall figures. This time, however, they are crafted from a black-tinted clear material. True to the "Machibouke" concept, each figure is posed sitting patiently with hands on knees, heads bowed in a posture of earnest waiting. The black clear coloration gives them the appearance of having waited so long they've become translucent, perhaps even resembling shadows or spirits of their original forms.
