Japanese toy company RE-MENT, renowned for its exquisite miniature models, has announced three new product lines centered around the beloved Starter Pokémon from the "Pokémon" franchise. This article will focus on the "Hajimari no Bōken Pokémon Journey with You! Anniversary" blind box figures, priced at 2,090 JPY per box, with an anticipated release date of November 2, 2026.
Since the release of "Pokémon Red and Green" in 1996, players have embarked on their adventures by selecting one of three "Starter Pokémon"—Grass, Fire, or Water types—as their initial partner. This foundational concept has been a consistent element across all "Pokémon" games and anime series, with each new generation introducing a unique trio of Grass, Fire, and Water-type starters for their respective regions.
The "Hajimari no Bōken Pokémon Journey with You! Anniversary" blind box series celebrates the franchise's first decade, featuring the Starter Pokémon from the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions. These correspond to the iconic games "Pokémon Red and Green," "Pokémon Gold and Silver," and "Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire." Each meticulously crafted scene depicts the regional starters interacting on a diorama base that beautifully captures the distinctive landscape features of their homelands. The Pokémon sculpts are rendered with incredible detail, and the vibrant, saturated colors of the scenes enhance their overall visual appeal. The bases themselves feature high-quality textures and metallic-painted region nameplates, designed to evoke the original excitement trainers felt when embarking on their very first Pokémon journey. Furthermore, these figures can be displayed alongside the six other regional scenes from the concurrently revealed "A New Journey" and "A Journey Towards the Future" sets, allowing collectors to assemble a complete collection of all the original partners from 30 years of Pokémon history!
