MEZCO TOYZ, a prominent US toy manufacturer, is expanding its "LDD Presents" line, a sub-series of the popular "Living Dead Dolls" (LDD) collection, with a new release from the animated film "Corpse Bride." Introducing the "Corpse Bride Emily" figure, priced at $60 USD, with an estimated release window from November 2026 to January 2027!
Released in 2005, the stop-motion animated film "Corpse Bride" was directed by the visionary Tim Burton. The story follows Victor, who is arranged to marry into an aristocratic family. While practicing his wedding vows alone in the forest, he accidentally places the ring on the skeletal finger of Emily, the Corpse Bride, embarking on an unexpected adventure into the underworld.
This LDD Presents Corpse Bride Emily figure stands approximately 25 cm tall and features 5 points of articulation. True to the distinctive LDD aesthetic, the figure faithfully recreates Emily's iconic movie appearance with its unique body proportions. The sculpt meticulously captures details like her exposed ribs and skeletal left arm. Her flowing blue hair is rendered with rooted hair technology, while her tattered, aged wedding gown is crafted from real fabric, perfectly replicating its distressed look. Combined with an exquisite paint application, the figure beautifully conveys Emily's unique blend of eerie charm and subtle tenderness. The packaging boasts a window box design, allowing for display without needing to unbox the figure. Fans of "Corpse Bride" won't want to miss out on this stunning collectible!
