TAMASHII NATIONS, BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division in Japan, has teased the latest silhouette from its "METAL ROBOT Damashii" series, which combines metallic paint finishes with die-cast frames. The new product, hailing from "Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans," is slated for a full reveal on June 18.
While only a slightly clearer rear silhouette of the upcoming mobile suit has been revealed, it's unmistakably the Titans' TR Project's third-phase experimental unit: the "NRX-044(R) Prototype Asshimar TR-3 [Kehaar] Space Type." This unit was forcibly repurposed from an Asshimar prototype and modified primarily to validate the strength of its drum frame and the feasibility of its transformation mechanism in a space environment. Consequently, the entire unit lacks complete armor, with its lower body featuring twin legs replaced by fuel tanks and thrusters. It also boasts a "Gravity Type" configuration, where the lower body can be swapped out for a thermonuclear engine leg unit.
