Japanese toy company Hasegawa is back with the third installment in its dream collaboration project with "Mazinger Z" for the "Mechatro WeGo" model kit series! Following the releases of the "Mazinger Z" and "Boss Borot" versions, fans can now look forward to the "20 Mechatro WeGo Mazinger Collaboration Vol.3 Great Mazinger" 1/20 scale model kit. Priced at 3,960 JPY, it's slated for an August 2026 release.
Designed by moderhythm / Kazushi Kobayashi, the "Mechatro WeGo" is set in a world where it's a child-friendly robot developed by the Japanese company Chubu Mechatronics. Its smooth, rounded design, crafted specifically for children, gives it an adorable charm. The main body features a protective, retractable cockpit that can accommodate a child, earning it the title of the world's smallest piloted robot. Its flexible limbs allow children to use it for carrying school bags, commuting, and playing games, bringing joy to their daily lives.
The "20 Mechatro WeGo Mazinger Collaboration Vol.3 Great Mazinger" 1/20 scale model kit stands approximately 15 cm tall upon completion. It features newly developed parts that seamlessly integrate Great Mazinger's iconic characteristics into the Mechatro WeGo's charming design. The vibrant colors are achieved through molded plastic parts and included stickers, allowing for a realistic finish without the need for paint. The head's cockpit command machine can be detached, and it even comes with "Thunder Break" hand parts for dynamic posing and play!
