Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the latest collaboration product from its popular school-themed bishojo model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien," with "Frame Arms Girl." The new release, "GRANDE SCALE Dress-Up Body [M] with Stylet," is slated for November 2026.
Stylet is an aerial combat-type twin-tailed bishojo character designed by renowned illustrator Fumikane Shimada, based on the Frame Arms mecha "Stylet" originally designed by Takayuki Yanase. In the "Frame Arms Girl" anime project, she is a tsundere character with immense pride. Often serving as one of the few voices of reason, she frequently finds herself in the role of the straight man, reacting to the antics of others.
The GRANDE SCALE line is Kotobukiya's initiative to enlarge its products, scaling up the original approximately 15cm Frame Arms Girls to a substantial 25cm, making them compatible with 1/6 scale clothing. While the "GRANDE SCALE Dress-Up Body [M] with Stylet" might initially appear to be a combination of previously released products like the "GRANDE SCALE Stylet" and the "GRANDE SCALE Dress-Up Body [M] with Ao Gennai," it actually includes a completely new unarmored Stylet hair sculpt. Additionally, it comes with "standard bangs," "bangs with attachable cat ears," and an "Innocentia back-of-head part." Coupled with three brand-new interchangeable face plates, collectors can now create even more casual looks for Stylet!
For the torso, this release also maintains a dual body configuration, featuring both a light blue athletic wear sculpt and a sculpt showing her in just briefs. Including the main body, a total of five pairs of interchangeable hands are provided. For the legs, collectors can choose between white over-the-knee socks, bare feet, long socks, and short socks. Additionally, athletic shoe foot parts are included for free customization. The neck joint comes with three different length options, allowing builders to adjust based on various outfits.
