Bandai's Gashapon division is expanding its popular "Machibouke" (Waiting) series with a third installment featuring characters from the hit mobile game "Gakuen Idolmaster." These adorable capsule toys will retail for 400 JPY per turn and are slated for release in the third week of June 2026!
This "Gakuen Idolmaster" themed collection introduces five new idols:
- Seina Juo, the student council president, revered as "the school's number one idol."
- Tsubame Amayo, the vice president, known for her pride that matches her skill and her strict demands on herself and others.
- Rinami Himezaki, an older sister-type idol with a mature, gentle, and kind demeanor.
- Mao Arimura, the idol department dorm leader who aspires to be a cool idol and is affectionately called "Little Prince" by her juniors.
- Misuzu Hataya, a laid-back, easygoing, and friendly idol who marches to the beat of her own drum.
Each figure stands approximately 4cm tall, capturing the unique expressions and costume details that reflect each idol's personality. They're depicted in charming poses, as if patiently waiting for their producer's guidance in a corner of the school. Producers, don't keep your beloved idols waiting too long!
