Japanese capsule toy maker Kitan Club (キタンクラブ) is releasing a new series of "Sanrio Characters Cardboard Watch 3" capsule toys, featuring various classic Sanrio characters. Each gashapon will retail for 500 JPY and is slated for release in late June 2026!
Following the popular first and second waves which featured Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, and more, the "Sanrio Characters Cardboard Watch 3" series once again transforms beloved Sanrio stars into adorable mini-clocks, each approximately 3-5 cm tall, depicted inside various boxes! This latest installment sees the return of five fan-favorite characters from the first wave: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Pochacco. This time, they're styled around a "gift from a journey" theme, sporting summer vacation looks with sunglasses and straw hats. Even their cardboard boxes have been redesigned with unique patterns reflecting each character's personality! The clocks feature a button on the bottom to switch between "date display" and "second display" functions, and the batteries are replaceable, ensuring these Sanrio friends can keep time for collectors for a long time to come!
