Illustrator Nagano's wildly popular "Chiikawa" series has been drawing massive crowds to the "Chiikawa Bakery" since its grand opening in Harajuku Omotesando in 2024. Fans are still lining up daily to snag themed treats, and the bakery even launched a new Osaka branch, "Chiikawa Bakery OSAKA," this past June.
To celebrate the official release of the movie "Chiikawa: The Secret of Mermaid Island," Chiikawa Bakery is dropping a fresh lineup of film-exclusive breads and brand-new merchandise, all hitting shelves on July 24!
The Chiikawa Bakery, which first opened its doors in Tokyo's Harajuku Omotesando in October 2024, expanded with its "Chiikawa Bakery OSAKA" branch this June. But don't let the adorable designs fool you—these aren't just cute; they're seriously delicious, authentic breads.
This limited-edition collection is split into two main series: items available for the entire run, and those exclusive to the first or second half of the event, giving fans even more reasons to enjoy the movie and munch on some tasty treats!
