Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced a re-release for the highly popular "Frame Arms Girl Durgah II" plastic model kit from their "Frame Arms Girl" series. This articulated model kit will retail for 11,330 JPY (tax included) and is slated for a May 2027 release!

Based on the Frame Arms mecha "Durgah" designed by ToMo, the "Durgah" series of Frame Arms Girls are beautifully reimagined by illustrator Eiji Komatsu. The base body design is largely identical to its paired sister unit, "Magatsuki", emphasizing voluptuous thighs and hip curves. Its exterior armor retains the heavy, knight-like aesthetic of the original Frame Arms version. "Durgah II" is an enhanced unit specifically designed for anti-ship combat, building upon Durgah's foundation with an added head-mounted targeting jammer and a wealth of heavy armaments. This balanced Frame Arms Girl focuses on all-around enhancements, and its popularity far surpasses the original "Durgah I," consistently commanding high prices in the secondary market.

Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall, "Frame Arms Girl Durgah II" inherits the Durgah series' signature voluptuous body and lace-style costume. Her hair now features a new high ponytail, and the front hair parts can be swapped between a large bow accessory and standard bangs. Unlike Durgah I's haughty demeanor, Durgah II's expressions are softer and exude an inexplicable maternal aura, earning her the nickname "Mom" among some fans. This release includes four pre-painted interchangeable face plates: a "Healing Smile," a "Smug Face," a "Pouting Face," and an "Anxious Face." Additionally, she now comes with the same massive articulated flowing ribbons seen on "Magatsuki Houten".

In terms of weaponry, the most striking piece is undoubtedly the greatsword "Berengust," which evolved from a ship-slicing blade. When wielded, auxiliary parts allow it to be further secured to the arm. It can also be separated into the tactical mortar blade "Hagit" and the tactical interceptor blade "Riharl." Furthermore, Durgah II is equipped with the deployable clawed shield "Hellreine," which can combine with Riharl. Durgah I's original weapon, the lance "Heilrang," is also included, and by swapping certain parts, you can recreate Durgah I's original appearance!
