Japanese animation planning and production company GENCO has partnered with Chinese die-cast model brand MOSHOWTOYS, renowned for its robust alloy frames and superior mechanical craftsmanship, to officially unveil their latest creation from the cross-over project of two classic sci-fi IPs, "ZOIDS x Mobile Police Patlabor: Code Name B.U.D.D.Y.". This new release is the "1/35 Scale Ingram Mark III Die-cast Action Figure". It will retail for 26,800 JPY and is slated for an October 2026 release.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of TAKARA TOMY's classic mechanical beasts, "ZOIDS," and the 35th anniversary of the realistic robot masterpiece, "Mobile Police Patlabor," both franchises embarked on a major cross-over manga project titled "ZOIDS x PATLABOR: Code Name B.U.D.D.Y.". Renowned Japanese mechanical designer Hidetaka Tenjin personally handled the design and supervision for this project, deeply integrating the iconic Special Vehicles Section 2 police Labor, the Ingram, with the militaristic style of the Zoids world. This fusion gives birth to the next-generation heavy-duty reinforced model, the Ingram Mark III! MOSHOWTOYS is responsible for the entire production of this figure, incorporating a high proportion of die-cast joints and an internal frame, delivering an incredibly satisfying heft and exceptional range of articulation.
This meticulously crafted figure is produced in 1/35 scale, standing approximately 23 cm tall (excluding antenna) and weighing a substantial 400 grams. It is designed for seamless interaction with TAKARA TOMY's Metropolitan Police Department Hunter Wolf (Ares and Bess) and the rival Zoid, the Fang Griffon! Beyond its deeply etched armor lines, the Special Vehicles Section 2 black and white police livery, and the protective cloth covers on its limb joints, the figure also features built-in LED light-up modules in both shoulder warning lights, which illuminate for active duty with the installation of batteries. Accessories include a two-stage retractable electromagnetic baton, a revolver, a steel fork, a dedicated metal display base, and a flexible support arm. The right calf features a deployable compartment to store the revolver, and the cockpit hatch can be opened and closed, perfectly recreating the dynamic intensity of a sortie!
