Japanese model maker Kaiyodo has announced the latest addition to their popular 'AMAZING YAMAGUCHI' action figure series: 'Tekkaman Evil', from the hit sci-fi anime "Tekkaman Blade," slated for release in July 2027.
Tekkaman Evil is the transformed state of Shinya Aiba, protagonist D-Boy's twin brother, after being brainwashed by the parasitic organism "Radam." A highly versatile biological weapon, Tekkaman Evil was instilled with the ideology to "kill and surpass his brother," constantly training himself and relentlessly hunting Tekkaman Blade on the front lines. He possesses formidable combat power, on par with his counterpart, and can inflict immense destruction using his specialized barbed spear, the "Tekk Lancer."
The "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI Tekkaman Evil" figure is sculpted by Kaiyodo's renowned artist, Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. Standing approximately 17.5 cm tall, it features sharp, red and black armor across its entire body, with proportions that evoke a powerful, muscular physique. The figure's construction utilizes Kaiyodo's long-cultivated Revoltech joint system, enabling ultra-high articulation while maintaining its cool silhouette, allowing collectors to achieve dynamic and tension-filled battle poses.
Regarding accessories, the head can be swapped to recreate the state where its eyes glow red. Its signature weapon, the "Tekk Lancer," includes parts for both its standard and cross forms. The shoulder armor can also be fitted with blade parts to recreate the "Ram Shoulder" attack. Pair it with the separately sold "Tekkaman Blade" to recreate intense battle scenes between the two. Additionally, pre-ordering this product through Kaiyodo's direct stores and other channels will grant a limited bonus: two "Tekk Lancer Afterimage Effects."
