Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ ROBOT SPIRITS QUIN-MANTHA -MARKING PLUS- Unleashes Neo Zeon’s Massive Ultimate Weapon!

BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS has revealed release details for the ROBOT SPIRITS articulated figure line’s latest addition, the ROBOT SPIRITS QUIN-MANTHA -MARKING PLUS-. Created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, the figure is priced at 35,200 yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release in Japan in March 2027.

The NZ-000 Quin-Mantha was developed at the order of Haman Karn as a massive 40-meter-class Newtype-use mobile suit incorporating the full extent of Neo Zeon technology. It combines frame data obtained from the captured Titans mobile suit Psycho Gundam Mk-II, Qubeley’s funnel technology, and Neo Zeon’s latest engineering. The name “Mantha” comes from the Mandinka word for king, reflecting the expectations placed on the machine. Following Neo Zeon’s internal power struggle, it was ultimately piloted by Ple Two. Armed with nine mega particle cannons, more than 30 funnels, a defensive mega particle deflection system, and an I-field generator, the mobile suit can dominate the battlefield in the hands of a powerful Newtype pilot.

Standing approximately 260 mm tall, the ROBOT SPIRITS QUIN-MANTHA -MARKING PLUS- does not reproduce the mobile suit’s full in-universe scale relative to other machines, but its sheer size remains impressive. Original mechanical designer Mika Akitaka supervised the figure and redesigned details omitted from the anime. Carefully engineered support components beneath the enormous shoulder armor preserve its articulation, while a metal frame inside the torso improves stability. The specialized internal structure also recreates the firing pose in which the waist section lifts upward. The toes, rear funnel containers, and waist thrusters are all independently articulated.

The two beam sabers stored beneath the shoulder armor can be posed as they are being drawn, and the set includes oversized beam blade effects measuring approximately 160 mm long. Fourteen funnels and dedicated connectors recreate their deployment in flight. The display base includes a support arm and three connector types, allowing the Quin-Mantha to be shown with both feet planted, suspended in midair, or leaning backward in its firing pose.
