BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division has unveiled detailed sales information for the latest entry in its robot-themed action figure series, ROBOT SPIRITS. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the classic Gundam series, "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ", comes the ROBOT SPIRITS Quin Mantha ~Marking Plus~. This impressive figure is priced at 35,200 JPY (tax included) and is slated for a March 2027 release.
The NZ-000 Quin Mantha, ordered into production by Haman Karn, stands as a colossal 40-meter-tall Newtype-use Mobile Suit developed by Neo Zeon, incorporating all their technological might. It was created by combining captured Titans' Psycho Gundam Mk-II frame data, Qubeley's Funnel technology, and Neo Zeon's latest advancements. The term "Mantha" originates from the Mandinka language, referring to a king, reflecting the high expectations placed on this mobile suit. In the series, after enduring Neo Zeon's internal power struggles, it was eventually piloted by Puru Two. This formidable unit is armed with a total of nine Mega Particle Cannons, over 30 Funnels, and defensive Mega Particle Deflectors and I-Field Generators. When paired with a powerful Newtype pilot, it can effortlessly unleash overwhelming combat capabilities to dominate the battlefield!
The ROBOT SPIRITS Quin Mantha ~Marking Plus~ stands approximately 26 cm tall, including its shoulder armor. While it doesn't replicate the in-series scale ratio with other mobile suits, its size is still impressive. The figure was supervised by Mika Akitaka, the original mechanical designer for the anime, who also redesigned previously omitted mechanical details from the animation. The parts supporting the massive shoulder armor are meticulously designed to allow for a wide range of poses. Its torso incorporates a metal frame for enhanced stability and support. A special frame structure allows it to recreate its in-series firing pose with the waist raised, while the toes, back Funnel binders, and waist thrusters all feature independent articulation.
The two beam sabers hidden within the shoulder armor can be recreated as they are drawn, and the figure includes massive 16 cm long beam saber effect parts! Beyond the beam sabers, accessories also feature 14 Funnels with dedicated connection parts, allowing collectors to recreate dynamic and impactful firing scenes! The included display base, along with three types of connection parts, enables a variety of poses, from standing firmly on the ground to suspended mid-air or a dramatic backward-leaning firing stance. Collectors can proudly display it in their preferred dynamic poses!
