[[known_terms.274]] and Japanese figure manufacturer [[known_terms.653]] have announced a new 1/6.5 scale figure for the [[known_terms.950]] series. The latest release, the "Yuna 1/6.5 Scale Pre-Painted Figure" from "[[known_terms.4249]] X," is slated for release in June 2027.
Yuna, the heroine of "[[known_terms.4249]] X," is a 17-year-old girl from Besaid Island. Inheriting her father's role as a Summoner, she trains tirelessly in temples to defeat "Sin," the colossal beast that has ravaged the civilization of Spira for a millennium. After encountering Tidus, a young man her age from the dream-like Zanarkand, she invites him to join her as a guardian. Their journey together sees them grow close, developing mutual affection and weaving a poignant love story filled with beautiful moments, from their iconic kiss in the Macalania Spring to tearful partings in the face of life and death.
The fourth entry in the series, the "Yuna 1/6.5 Scale Pre-Painted Figure," stands approximately 27 cm tall. It meticulously recreates Yuna's pure and endearing facial expression from the game. Her costume, a blend of fantasy and Japanese Taisho-era Hakama, not only faithfully reproduces the textures of the fabric and leather but also features rich color applications and printed details for the elaborate patterns on her belt and Hakama. Her signature weapon, the "Staff of the Magistral," held in both hands, is finished with vibrant metallic paint. Every aspect of the figure beautifully captures the character's appearance and attire as designed by Tetsuya Nomura, evoking fond memories for players of their adventures across Spira.
