Japanese figure manufacturer quesQ (Ques Q Co., Ltd.), known for its high-quality character models, has announced a new product based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End". The "Frieren ~Vs. Aura~" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure is priced at 25,080 JPY and is slated for release in June 2027.
The iconic confrontation between Frieren and Aura the Guillotine, one of the Seven Sages, was a highlight of the anime's first season, appearing in episodes nine and ten. Aura's magic allowed her to compel and control opponents by weighing their souls against her own; the one with greater magical power would subjugate the other. For 500 years, her immense magical power, accumulated through her demonic nature and longevity, had never been defeated. However, her arrogance led to her downfall when she faced Frieren, an elf who had lived for over a thousand years and constantly suppressed her own vast magical reserves.
This "Frieren ~Vs. Aura~" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 28 cm tall. It meticulously recreates the pivotal scene where Frieren confronts Aura, capturing the essence of her floating mid-air with flowing hair and a dynamic, windswept cape that creates a light and airy visual effect. The figure boasts intricate sculpting, reproducing the wrinkles in her leather boots and attire, while her signature red dangling earrings and staff are also finely detailed.
