Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division has released additional physical prototype photos for the "Figure-rise Standard Amplified" series' "Magnagarurumon" (also known as MagnaGarurumon), ahead of its official launch. These new images offer fresh perspectives on the standalone figure's full armament, equipment disassembly, and its combined forms: "Susanoomon," created by merging with the separately sold KaiserGreymon, and "Zero-Arms: Orochi." The product has a suggested retail price of 6,600 JPY and is slated for release in Japan on September 19, 2026.
The main body sculpt, armament, and combination features were previously detailed in the "initial reveal of Magnagarurumon," which primarily featured promotional product images. Following the recent "box art and release date announcement," these newly added images provide front and back views, allowing for a clearer understanding of the model's thickness, structure, and combined silhouette from the physical prototypes. As a Transcendent Species Digimon, evolved by Koji Minamoto after gathering the Spirits of Light, Thunder, Darkness, Steel, and Water, Magnagarurumon's original design already emphasized high-speed flight and long-range firepower.
The six new standalone photos showcase the full armament from the front, back, and various angles. The massive "Sniper Phantom" and "Assault Phantom" weapons extend almost to its calves. With its rear flight unit fully deployed, the horizontal silhouette appears even more imposing than in previous promotional images. Another image displays the figure's internal structure with the head parts removed and the large armaments detached, revealing its basic form after the chest armor, shoulder wings, and arm equipment are separated.
Beyond the fully armed standing pose, the new images also show it wielding twin light blades and striking a high-speed firing pose using a clear display stand. The mechanical detailing, blue, white, and gold tri-color armor, and asymmetrical heavy armaments, reinterpreted by illustrator As'Maria, appear even more intricate on the physical prototype. Previously, collectors had to imagine the sheer bulk from promotional images, but now, with views from the front, back, and even in a disassembled state, the volume and intricate details of the parts are finally clear.
The remaining five new images are dedicated to the true main attractions: three prototype shots of "Susanoomon" and two of "Zero-Arms: Orochi." Susanoomon is shown from the front, back, and in a floating attack pose. With the red and gold armored upper body connected to Magnagarurumon's blue and gold legs, the stacking of the golden wheel on its back, the long skirt armor, and shoulder armor is fully revealed for the first time. Orochi, formed from the remaining combined parts, is shown in a side-flying pose and firing its light blades. It's clear that it's not just a simple stacking of weapons, but rather a colossal divine weapon with the silhouette of a fuselage, wings, and thrusters. For collectors who already own KaiserGreymon, these physical photos will likely make it very difficult to consider Magnagarurumon an "optional" second purchase!
