BANDAI SPIRITS’ Hobby Division has released additional physical prototype photos ahead of the launch of the Figure-rise Standard Amplified MagnaGarurumon model kit. The new images cover its fully armed solo configuration and stripped-down form, along with Susanoomon—created by combining it with the separately sold KaiserGreymon—and ZERO-ARMS: Orochi from several new angles. Priced at 6,600 yen, the kit is scheduled for release in Japan on September 19, 2026.
Our original “MagnaGarurumon reveal coverage” detailed the model’s design, weapons, and combination features, with promotional product images providing the main look at the kit. A more recent “package art and release date update” revealed further information, while these newly added prototype photos now provide front and rear views that make the model’s depth, construction, and combined silhouette easier to examine. As Koji Minamoto’s Transcendent-form evolution, created by fusing the Spirits of Light, Thunder, Darkness, Steel, and Water, MagnaGarurumon was designed around extreme aerial speed and overwhelming long-range firepower.
The six newly added standalone photos show the fully armed model from the front, rear, and several different angles. The massive Sniper Phantom and Strike Phantom weapons extend almost to the lower legs, while the fully deployed flight units create an even wider and more imposing silhouette than the earlier promotional images suggested. Another structural display separates the head components and removes the large weapons from both arms, revealing the model’s basic proportions with its chest armor, shoulder wings, and arm equipment detached.
Alongside its fully armed standing pose, the new photos show MagnaGarurumon wielding its twin Magna Blades and taking aim in a high-speed firing pose supported by a clear display stand. The mechanical panel lines reinterpreted by illustrator As’Maria, the blue, white, and gold armor, and the asymmetrical heavy armament appear even denser on the physical prototype. Earlier promotional images left the kit’s sheer bulk somewhat difficult to judge, but the new front, rear, and stripped-down views finally make the volume of its parts and equipment clear.
Five additional photos focus on the kit’s biggest attraction, including three prototype shots of Susanoomon and two of ZERO-ARMS: Orochi. Susanoomon is shown from the front and rear, as well as in an airborne attack pose. Its red-and-gold armored upper body connects with MagnaGarurumon’s blue-and-gold legs, while the complete layering of the rear halo, long skirt armor, and shoulder armor can now be seen for the first time. Orochi, assembled from the parts left over after the combination, is displayed in a side-on flight pose and while firing its light blade. Rather than simply stacking the unused weapons together, the parts form a massive divine weapon with a distinct nose, wings, and thruster silhouette. For collectors who already own KaiserGreymon, these prototype photos make MagnaGarurumon look far less like an optional second kit.
