Panda's Hole Fried Shark Marking Accessory Capsule Toys Deep-Fry Whole Sharks—and Even a Manta Ray!

Panda's Hole, the offbeat Capsule Toy brand from Japanese toy company T-ARTS, has launched its new "Fried Shark" Marking Accessory Capsule Toys. The collection transforms an assortment of sharks into golden, batter-coated delicacies. Each piece comes with a silicone loop and lobster clasp, letting collectors attach it to an umbrella, water bottle, or other personal item for easy identification. The lineup includes six designs priced at 300 yen per pull, tax included, and was released during the week of October 19, 2026.

Panda's Hole first made waves in 2013 with the debut of its absurd Fried Shark Capsule Toys, which imagined entire sharks dropped straight into a deep fryer. The brand's designer previously discussed the concept in our "Panda's Hole Designer Interview." Now, for the brand's 112th release, those battered predators are back as portable Marking Accessories. The six-piece lineup features a great white shark, sawshark, whale shark, Japanese bullhead shark, and hammerhead shark, plus a manta ray. Each retains its species' recognizable shape beneath a crispy golden coating, making these sea creatures look less like ocean wildlife and more like snacks fresh from the fryer.
