PLEX has unveiled the first release in its new ONE PIECE-themed ONE PIECE Archive Collection: the Dr. Vegapunk PUNK-04 Pythagoras the Wise Soft Vinyl Statue. Priced at 33,000 yen, the figure is scheduled for release in early November 2026.
Dr. Vegapunk is a genius scientist whose technology is said to be 500 years ahead of the rest of the world. To increase his productivity, he divided his brain and personality among six satellite bodies. PUNK-04, Pythagoras the Wise, represents his wisdom and handles data analysis and testing. Designed as a massive wind-up robot with a detachable head, Pythagoras was destroyed by a Seraphim during the Egghead Incident after helping the Straw Hat Pirates.
The Dr. Vegapunk PUNK-04 Pythagoras the Wise statue stands approximately 31 cm tall and is constructed entirely from soft vinyl. Its sculpt faithfully captures the character’s simple, rounded mechanical design, including the flexible tubing on his limbs, rivets across his body, and the wind-up key mounted on his head. Detailed paintwork recreates his saturated red and yellow color scheme, while his perpetually worried-looking eyes and the “PUNK 04” and “Wisdom” markings on his chest are reproduced with tampo printing. With Pythagoras launching the new series, collectors will definitely want to stay tuned to see which ONE PIECE characters receive the soft-vinyl treatment next.
