Japanese publisher Takarajimasha, Inc. (株式会社宝島社) is known for its magazines and books covering fashion and subculture for younger audiences.
The company has now announced a festive lineup of Mobile Suit Gundam merchandise for the New Year. The collection includes three Doll BOOK releases—Haro New Year Kagami Mochi / Haro Daruma / Char's Zaku II Daruma—all launching on November 25.
Inspired by the Mobile Suit Gundam anime franchise, the collection transforms the mobile suit Char's Zaku II and fan-favorite mascot Haro into auspicious Japanese New Year dolls packed with festive charm.
Daruma and kagami mochi are traditional Japanese New Year decorations associated with good fortune, happiness, and peace in the year ahead. These dolls come in compact, display-friendly sizes, making them ideal as seasonal decorations or New Year gifts for friends and family. The collection will be sold exclusively through the official Takarajimasha Channel online store, Seven Net Shopping, and 7-Eleven.
