Written by Demunyan and illustrated by Daisuki Tansan, the investment-themed manga FX Fighter Kurumi-chan received a TV anime adaptation this season. Its brutally realistic take on the highs and lows of investing has drawn plenty of attention from fans.
On the 6th, Demunyan posted a screenshot of his stock trades on X. The Nikkei 225 plunged more than 4,000 points at one stage during the day, and the creator revealed that he had closed his position at a loss, quickly sparking discussion online.

Demunyan regularly shares screenshots of his foreign exchange margin trading and stock trades. Late the previous night, he posted about the Nikkei 225 falling more than 4,000 points intraday. The situation alone was enough to leave him shaken, with no telling what the market would look like by morning.

He followed up with another post reading, “There’s no turning back time...” making it clear that even he could barely imagine how much worse things might get.

This time, he shared his stock trading screen with the caption, “The end.” He also revealed that he had cut his losses at 766,508 yen.
He added, “Just making it to the moment the market opened probably counts as surviving... At times like this, I’m genuinely glad I split my funds across multiple accounts... Seriously...”

Gains and losses are an unavoidable part of trading, of course. But with FX Fighter Kurumi-chan attracting more attention since its anime premiere, even more fans are now closely following its creator’s real-life investment updates. If nothing else, it is another reminder that investing calls for solid risk controls—preferably enough to keep a park bench from becoming your next bed.
