Sideshow Collectibles, the renowned US-based collectibles manufacturer, is once again expanding its "Fairytale Fantasies Collection," a series developed in collaboration with acclaimed artist J. Scott Campbell. Following the release of the original Tinkerbell statue, they've now unveiled a distinct new piece: the Tinkerbell Fall Variant full-body statue! It's slated for release between April and June 2022.
American comic book artist J. Scott Campbell is celebrated for his distinctive character designs, featuring bold lines, sensual figures, and striking silhouettes. He first gained prominence for his work on "Danger Girl," which was later adapted into a video game. Subsequently, he collaborated with Marvel, illustrating numerous Spider-Man comics alongside writer Jeph Loeb. His "Fairytale Fantasies" series, which reimagines Disney princesses with a provocative flair, has also left a significant impression. Collectors interested in seeing more of his art can visit his Instagram.
Standing approximately 30 cm (12 inches) tall, this piece shares a similar sculpt with the previous regular edition. However, it presents a completely different ambiance through its facial makeup, hair, leaf-inspired attire, and wings. The entire figure is dominated by rich autumnal orange and red hues. The translucent wings, infused with glitter, are stunning, while the leaf clothing realistically captures intricate textures and gradient colors along the edges. Compared to the youthful charm of the regular Tinkerbell, this Fall Variant exudes the allure of a captivating mature woman. The base maintains the Neverland compass theme, featuring exquisitely detailed three-dimensional patterns on its sides.
