Taiwanese designer toy brand STUDIO SUNDOWNER recently unveiled the latest, fifth entry in its "Advent of Marvelous League" series: the "ArmageddonAtman" 1/6 scale collectible figure! Pre-orders will open on STUDIO SUNDOWNER's official website on August 17, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. (CST), with an estimated shipping date in the first quarter of 2022.
The "Advent of Marvelous League" series masterfully blends elements of the Chinese zodiac, religious mythology, and science fiction, creating a fictional world steeped in a post-apocalyptic atmosphere. The backstory is set after World War III, where human civilization has been reborn following a nuclear catastrophe, with the global population reduced to merely one-thousandth of its original size. In this desolate world, countless powerful spiritual entities, unable to reincarnate and driven by intense desires, linger. They manifest as terrifying scourges, known as "ArmageddonAtman," by possessing humans, animals, or machines. The only force capable of combating these ArmageddonAtman are the mighty Twelve Divine Generals, summoned through spiritual rituals.
Following several Divine Generals, "ArmageddonAtman" finally makes its debut as a 1/6 scale figure! Standing approximately 31 cm tall, this figure boasts 32 points of articulation. Its tailored black suit, sharp, angular mechanical parts, and intricately detailed mechanical skull head collectively present a strong villainous aesthetic. The figure also comes with a wealth of accessories, including two incredibly cool weapons named "Karma Fire" and "Asura," multiple interchangeable hand parts, two sets of head visors, and two sets of interchangeable knee armor and foot parts, allowing for a variety of dynamic poses. Additionally, STUDIO SUNDOWNER will release separate head sculpt accessory packs (two types), enabling collectors to create even more distinct looks for their ArmageddonAtman.
